Jagapathi Babu’s career has some strange twists and turns. He started with action movies, but moved on to typical masala fare (emotions and romance).

Now the lanky actor seems to have realized that action is what works for him. His next film Pandu is also set in the same genre.Though he again reiterates that he is game for any kind of role. ‘Be it action, emotion or entertainment, the role has to be done with a touch of newness,’ he says.

Jagapathi Babu understands that his career is not going anywhere with not much successes in recent times. But he philosophizes that hits and losses are part of the game. ‘You win some, you lose some,’ he says.

Apart from Pandu, he is also busy with Madrasi, his Tamil foray (Siva Kasi in Telugu), directed by his friend Arjun.

Jagapathi Babu has always been a caring sort of individual.Recently he was with children suffering from heart ailments as part of his commitment to Save Child’s Heart Foundation. He says he is happy to be associated with such causes’.

He agreed to foot the medical bill of a three-month old infant who is suffering from heart disorders.

Jagapathi’s own heart is very much in place, surely.
