'Doing remakes are never easy'

Director Rajkumar, who has made a good beginning with Mazhai, a remake of Telugu hit Varsham says, doing remakes are a difficult task for the pressure is always on you to repeat the success the script has already witnessed'.

Satisfied at the good-opening, Mazhai had seen since its release last week, Rajkumar, says, 'I was fortunate to make my debut with a good producer (S P B Charan) and good star cast which includes Jeyam Ravi, Shreya and Kalabhavan Mani'.

A one-time associate of director Charan, Rajkumar, having worked with him in Vasool Raja MBBS,I learnt a lot of doing remakes well. After seeing Mazhai, it was Charan who appreciated me first for the genuiness and nativity that the Tamil version had'.
