Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi, which has successfully completed a silver jubilee, will add one more feather to its cap.

The movie will be screened at the Tokyo International Film Fest which would kick off on 22 October.

Rajinikanth is already a popular hero in Japan for his film Muthu was released as Dancing Maharajah in Japan a few years ago and ran to packed houses.

Now Chandramukhi will soon follow Muthu in garnering more fame for Rajinikanth in Japan.

Producer Ramkumar and director P Vasu will be part of the delegation which will take part in the film fest.

It may be recalled that Chandramukhi had an excellent run not just in Tamilnadu but also in Sri Lanka and Durban in South Africa where it ran to packed houses for over 100 days.

Chandramukhi is perhaps the biggest Tamil hit outside India till date.

Rajini's forthcoming Shivaji will have a chance to break that.
