Having completed Sivakasi, Vijay is all geared up with his home production Aadhi.

An enthusiastic Vijay, who became daddy for the second time recently, says, Gilli was stupendous hit in Tamil film history and my Thirupachi bettered it. I am confident that Sivakasi would reap good harvest, for I see hard work and quality product in every frame'.

Sivakasi is being produced by A M Rathnam and directed by Perarasu featuring Asin opposite Vijay.

The actor says, 'love, romance and sentiments are given in right mix for audience in Sivakasi. Perarasu has good understanding of film buffs and has got excellent potential'.

Referring to Aadhi, a remake of a Telugu hit, Vijay says ,though there are criticisms on me that I prefer remakes. But I would say doing remakes is a difficult task.

One has to proceed with caution to repeat the same success. Moreover, half-the-battle is won when we choose a successful script from other language'.

Sivakasi has created huge expectations among the trade, and it clashes with Vikram's Maja.

Sivakasi, the town, is known for fire crackers. Will Sivakasi, the film, be also explosive?
