One of the highest hyped cinema of the recent past after Naagarahavu` is this Mukunda Murari` – that is because of two top notch actors, directors and producers Upendra and Sudeep featured as Mukunda and Murari.

Except this is a remake there is a feel of satisfaction in the two gigantic actors taking part together for the first time.

In a recent meet both Upendra and Sudeep went back to 25 years ago. They felt those days were very happy indeed.

Kichcha Sudeep expressed in brief the days of Upendra coming to Sarovar Hotel of his father. With his friends I used to see Upendra with huge hat in early 90`s with just Rs.50 in his pocket and sitting for the whole day sipping coffee and discussing. I was curious of Upendra because he had directed a film at that time. I was very anxious to meet him and go in a car ride with him. That was because he would invite me to the film to act. I was studying in those days Kichcha Sudeep remembered.

Kichcha Sudeep drawing his attention on the role accepted by Upendra said it is a right thing to happen. He has guts and zeal to perform. I had seen earlier days of Upendra in this film. Being theist and atheist it is only Upendra with his usual punch and power in dialogues do fine job. That has happened is the glorious satisfaction of Sudeep.

Upendra also went back to his days of struggle and said he has been friend of Sudeep before coming to films.

The two have grown as stalwarts today. They share three areas of cinema – acting, directing and producing.

The festival of lights Deepavali is very special this time because of two top stars coming together in Mukunda Murari` that is hitting silver screen on 28th of this month.
