Rambha has been having a bit of a nightmare for some time.

Her home production bit the dust forcing her into heavy debts. There was also some unseemly controversy in Tamil Nadu over a fall out with a group of jewelers who had called her for a show.

Her career as a heroine also seemed to have hit a cul-de-sac. In short, nothing went to script for Rambha. Then out of the blue, the film from Sri Sarva Sai Films arrived.

Though she has been cast just opposite a newcomer (Sharat), Rambha cannot quibble. For this is one of her last few chances.

So she wouldn't really mind that the film does not have any big star cast or the fact that it is going to be directed by a little-known Shailendran.

Rambha is happy at having got an opportunity to act. But she should be equally happy that the film has been now named as Dream Girl.

As a matter of a fact, Rambha was just that (a Dream Girl) not long ago. So she should be happy playing a character true to type.
