Right from the day the first look was out, Virinchi Varma's 'Majnu' has been seen as a new-age film. The teaser, released today, only reinforces this. Watching Nani getting melancholic while listening to Maestro Ilaiyaraja's 'Prema ledani.. Premincha radani'' is absolutely entertaining. He is, on the face of it, out to get the laurels for being an incorrigible natural. It's natural, as they say.

Peppered with visuals of Anu Emmanuel, the teaser hints at coming with an authentic rom-com.

High on the success of KVPG and Gentleman this year, Nani is all set for this third. The movie will hit the screens in September (announced with an 'vacchetunna' by Nani himself . Directed by Virinchi Varma of Uyyala Jampala fame, Nani is paired up with Anu Emmanuel (of Mollywood) and Riya Ludhani, a Mumbai-based model. The first look had Nani smiling in his quintessential style. Gesturing at a teddy, he wore a tee with the words 'Ori nee veshalu' written on it. An old-style gramophone completes the charm.

While music is by Gopi Sundar, the cinematography is by Gnanasekhar. It is produced by Anandi Arts and Keva Movies.
