It was a gathering of glittering stars under one roof in Chennai on Wednesday for the launch for Mazhai, the remake of Telugu hit Varsham produced by S P Balasubramaniam's Capital Films.

The likes of A R Rehman, Vijay, Vadivelu, Jeyam Ravi, and directors Hari, Charan and Vasanth took part in the release of the audio cassette which comprises six numbers set to tunes by Devi Sri Prasad.

Mazhai stars Jeyam Ravi and Shreya in the lead and directed by a debutant Rajkumar.

Rehman released the first copy and was received by Vijay.

Rehman also presented the audio cassettes of Mazhai to playback singers Chitra, Thippu, Jassie Gift, Sumangali and SPB Charan who rendered their voices for their album.
