It was an auspicious day. The importance of it was not lost on Kalyan Ram.

Fresh from the success of Atanokkade, the most happening hero on the circuit, Kalyan Ram made the formal moves for his next movie yesterday.

Titled Asadhyudu, the film was formally launched at Kalyan's office itself.

Considering the fact that he is a happening hero in Telugu, it was a very quiet start to a big film. But Kalyan, who is planning a big bash for the success of Atanokkade, wanted it that way.

Asadhyudu is by Kosaraju Harikrishna and co-produced by Valluripalli Ramesh.

A newcomer Anil will wield the megaphone.

Beauty queen Kaveri Jha is pencilled to play the female lead. Music is by Mani Sharma.
