Athu Oru Kanaa Kaalam , the much-awaited movie directed by Balu Mahendra starring Dhanush will be released on 29 July.

The movie, which marks the comeback of veteran cinematographer-director Balu Mahendra to the big screen, is about Dhanush, a poor boy falling in love with a poor rustic girl, played by Priya Mani.

The musical score by Ilayaraja already has the attention of the music-buffs.

Dhanush's last release was Devadhaiyay Kandein, which made it to the theaters almost six months ago.
