It is not every day that a producer gets to celebrate his birthday on the same day when the audio of his new film is released.

But Chanti Addala, the producer of Oka Voorilo, had this rare privilege as the audio of the film was released great fanfare and bonhomie. It was an occasion of unsurpassed enjoyment and entertainment with music director Devi Sri Prasad regaling the gathered with a lively performance of the songs.

Right at the start, Devi Sri Prasad became an unwitting cynosure as his arrival was delayed due to the delay in his flight from Chennai. But in the end, the wait seemed worth it as Devi Sri Prasad, who is a live-wire performer on stage, turned out another energy-dripping performance.

In some sense, it is a make or break film for him as his recent releases have not done anything great at the box office.

Ditto is the case for the film's hero Tarun and heroine Saloni. Tarun needs a hit very badly or else his career looks sinking. Saloni needs a start for her fledgling career. The film's other hero Raja also needs a success to prove that he is no one film wonder.

In the event, with so many careers hinged on one film, Oka Voorilo carries lot of expectations. Director Ramesh Varma, a debutant (he has been Chanti Addala's poster designer), feels that he has done justice to the story and script.

But if he has not, many real life scripts are certain to go awry.
