National award winner Meera Jasmine's `benami' production in Tamil with herself and Prasanna in the lead has been stuck. Due to financial problems the film got bogged down while shooting was in Kovai. Officially the film's producer is director Lohitadas's wife. Meera has left for Hyderabad to take part in the shooting of KNT Sastry's film.

Meera's sisters are hurt that she did not bother to call on her father who was hospitalised. Meera and her family had a prolonged dispute over property. Now Meera's two sisters live in a rented house in Kochi and in the same city lives the actress in a posh bungalow. Her mother is shuttling between the houses of her daughters.
