Finally, they say this is the confirmed date --- June 3rd. After much shilly-shallying Andarivadu, it makers say, will release this Friday.

The trade is all agog at the prospect of a big Chiru film being released. Producer Allu Aravind is making all out efforts to release the film in the maximum number of theaters in Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, there is a curious excitement about Chiru's roles in the film. As everyone knows, he plays the father and son and is paired with Tabu and Rimi.

But the promos (especially the video ones) have been focusing on the father. The dad in a mass make-up ---- trimmed moustache, lungi hemmed over kneecap, leather boots and cool glasses.

Sreenu Vaitla, the director, at one point was worried that whether Chiru would play the father's role and was even ready to change the script to make the role into that of a brother.

But Chiru was ready and played by the script.

Now every one says the result is good. The father's character will walk away with all the plaudits, they add.

A case of papa being the winner.
