Actress Nayantra, who is slated to act alongside Silambarasan in Vallavan found herself in unseemly controversy thanks to the posters that had her in a teasing ad titillating clinch with the hero.

But the cool actress exudes a casual nonchalance at the criticism.

Nayantra, who is currently in Cochin for a Malayalam movie says "as an actress one has to perform what the director asks. I just did the same. It is for the director and producer to decide on whether to use the pictures for publicity or not. I have no role in it".

Asked whether it would spoil her reputation among her fans, she says "I don't think so. An actress has to do all kind of roles including glamorous ones".

And she is not peeved with Simbu even one bit. In fact she is all praise for him.

"The poster has won the movie enough publicity and hats off to Silambarasan for winning the attention of the people even before his movie could hit the floors", she says.

Nayantra will sure go places.
