Actor Vijayakanth has been making his political intentions very clear in the recent days.

He gave a call to his fans to gear up for the jump into politics recently.

Meanwhile, he is also busy with his movie Perarasu in which he plays a CBI officer.

Directed by Udhayan, the entire script has been overhauled for Vijayakanth to accommodate his political ideas.

Now, the shooting has commenced after a break.

Interestingly changes have been made in such a way that Vijayakanth gets to play a double role. Originally, he had only one character to play.

Now he will don the roles of a CBI officer and an honest politician.

The latter character will obviously mouth pregnant dialogues, which would carry implicit messages to his fans as well as his rivals.

Vijayakanth in all probability will contest the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. Through his film he will sending a clear message now.

Vijayakanth last played dual role in Vanathae Polae directed by Vikraman.
