Mahesh Babu is going to prove that he is not just a man of words. He is going to adopt his father's native village Burripalem soon. The Superstar says that Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's 'Smart Village' initiative inspired him to adopt his own village Burripalem and it wouldn't have happened without the support of his brother-in-law Jayadev Galla.
He also thanked Telangana Panchayat Raj and IT minister KTR for the congratulatory message after watching 'Srimanthudu' and said that KTR suggested him to adopt a remote village from the backward district of Mahabubnagar as part of their Gramajyothi initiative. The 'Dookudu' actor added that he said 'Yes' to KTR and will announce the details soon.
The #SmartVillage initiative lead by @ncbn garu prompted me to adopt my own village, Burripalem.
