Sudeep to play Baahubali of underworld

Ram Gopal Varma is all set to make a film based on the life of former Bangalore underworld don Muthappa Rai, whom the director describes as the "Baahubali of underworld".

RGV has roped in Sudeep as the lead actor in this film titled 'Appa' with the tagline "The father of Godfathers".The pre production work is in fullswing currently. Sudeep earlier acted in Varma's 'Phoonk' and 'Raktha Charithra'.RGV often says that he loves the actor's intensity.

Seems RGV has now focused on Sandalwood. His debut film in Kannada, 'Killing Veerappan', starring Shivaraj Kumar, will be wrapped up soon.
