Ameer's hard toil for over two years has been finally rewarded.

His Raam starring Jeeva is not just doing well at the box office, but has also been widely acclaimed by the critics for its gripping story line and technical excellence.

But what has brought more joy for Ameer is the praise showered on him by none other than director Manirathnam for his work in Raam.

Manirathnam, one of the few outstanding filmmakers in the country, after watching Raam, had personally called up Ameer and conveyed his deep appreciation.

An ecstatic Ameer says, "Manirathnam is my role model. Getting praise from him has given me immense pleasure and makes me forget all the strains and insult that I had to face to produce and direct this venture".

Is producing a movie is such a difficult job?

An emphatic 'yes' is Ameer's reply. "It's no joke to produce a movie. One has to arrange for money besides hoping that the movie would come good so that one would make some money out of it."

Every director and actor should make a movie to know their problems, says Ameer.
