It is a coincidence that is too good to be true. But true it is.
Comedy actor Rajendra Prasad, after the unexpected success of Aa Naalguru, has been in the thick of it.
In his next release, named Andagadu, Rajendra Prasad plays a musician of sorts.
He is a jingle composer, and comes dressed a buck-toothed, heavy-glassed maestro.
And as it happens, in another of his forthcoming movies, Pellam Pichodu, he has really turned a musician. Yes, he is the one who is scoring the tunes for the film. It is not for any lark or for some publicity stunt that he is turning to music composing.
He is really said to have a flair for tunes and that is what the director Jonnnavithula has utilized. The director, who himself is a lyricist, has every reason to understand the abilities of Rajendra Prasad.
But Pellam Pichodu will be released only after Andagadu. The latter has been written by K Subhash (a former assistant of Manirathnam) and directed by Dande Srinivasa Rao. Rajendra Prasad's stylized slapstick get-up is the talking point of the movie.
Now the question is will the films provide music to Rajendra Prasad's ears or will he end up facing the music.
Either way, he has to keep his ears crossed.
