Manju is the reason behind 'Rani Padmini'

It was quite unheard of in Mollywood, of roles being written for a specific actress. How things are slowly changing and Manju Warrier has become a great stimulant for this change. Revealing this to the the case is talented director Aashiq Abu, who is busy with the shoot of 'Rani Padmini'.

Aashiq says that Manju is the main reason behind 'Rani Padmini' and adds that it was not possible to do a script like this in the past, but this is not the case now. He sees this as a positive sign and promises a woman-centric movie which deals with the struggles and life of two women.
