Suriya is reverting back to his KK looks. Producer Chandrasekhar has flown in a body trainer who trains Salman Khan to train up Surya. Daily two hours at the posh gym in Alwarpet with Jothika for company is the regular exercise. The gym is kept out of bounds when the duo are training. Chandrasekhar’s largesse is because he sold out all areas even before the pooja. The film has been bought for a high price. This made Chandrasekhar who lost a big amount for Sullan very happy. Harris Jayraj who scores the music has flown to Malaysia to compose the music. A R Murugadoss directs the film. It has cinematography by R D Rajasekar who cranked the camera for KK and Manmathan. The action scenes will be of a bigger scale says Kanal Kannan. Suryah after Mayavi will start work for Ghajini. After that he will shift to a film produced by Sharan and directed by Hari. R S Gowda the Kannada producer of Maharajah the Kannada film had to go back empty handed since Surya did not accept any advance from him. On the pricing front too Surya is very modest. For Mayavi he took Rs 1 crore after persuasion from Bala and Dhanu.
