Pawan Kalyan's last three films have fallen flat. And new question marks are hovering over his career. People are wondering whether he has the endurance for the long haul ahead of him.

But these insinuations and snide remarks do not put off Pawan. He knows what it takes to shut off the industry's mouth: One hit is what it takes. So Pawan is not losing his sleep over that.

Pawan was seen at the Platinum Disc function of Balu-ABCDEFG. The hero, short of his moustache, looked particularly cheerful and spirited.

He did not seem like a man who was going through career horrors.

Pawan's mind is already getting on to his next project ---Banagaram to be director by Tamil hot-shot director Dharani.

Though his mind is on the project, Pawan's heart is set on a secret desire.

He wants to direct. But has he not directed Johnny and doesn't he do almost every film of his?

Well, he wants to direct his Annaiya, Chiru in a historical film.

Pawan is willing. Chiru too is. But both are already committed for long projects.

So Pawan has to wait. And he will.
