The shooting for Sivaji Productions' Chandramukhi starring Rajnikanth and Prabhu is going at a brisk pace.

Directed by P Vasu, almost a major portion has been shot. The movie would be released on Tamil New Years Day.

Meanwhile, the production house is slated to produce another film.

The new movie will star Sivaji Ganesan's grandson Dushyanath in the lead role.

Prabhu and Dushyanth's father Ram Kumar are listening to some stories for the movie.

The film would be a big-budget film with a popular actor slated to play an important role in the movie.

Dushyanath's debut venture Success and later Machi failed to make it big at the box office. Currently he is looking after the production of Chandramukhi along with his father Ram Kumar.

It is obvious that Sivaji household is worried over the fact that Dushyanth's career is yet to take off. And that is why they are going out of the way to prop his fledgling career.
