For the last two times, Murali Mohan has been elected as the president of Movie Artists Association (MAA) unanimously. But this time there is an interesting, in fact ugly, battle between senior actors Rajendra Prasad and Jayasudha for the post.

Few days back we have reported about the allegations of Jayasudha's panel about the threats they are getting from politicians to withdraw from the elections. Yesterday at a press meet, Jayasudha has fired on Rajendra Prasad's panel for threatening them and said that they will not bow down. She added that she will work for the welfare of the workers in the industry, particularly women, if she was elected as MAA president.

The elections for MAA president will be held on March 29th and no doubt everyone will await the results.
