Chiranjeevi's 150th film was supposed to be based on the life of famous freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Earlier there were rumours that Paruchuri Brothers were working on the script of the film.

But gossip mongers are abuzz with rumours that Chiranjeevi dropped the idea as he wants to do an out and out entertainer which will be loved by the present generation audiences.

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna once again expressed his desire to see Chiranjeevi as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. At the audio launch event of
'Rudramadevi' held in Warangal, he said, "Anushka's character as Rudhramadevi will be memorable like NTR's Sri Krishna Devaraya, Krishnam Raju's Bhaktha Kannappa and Krishna's Alluri Seetharama Raju characters. I want to see Chiranjeevi as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy"
