The late actor Murali's father and young hero Atharvaa`s grandfather Siddalingiah, aged 79 ,passed away on Thursday at a private hostpital in Bangalore due to ailments.Siddalingiah, considered one of the greatest ever Kannada directors has given 22 films in Kannada and 1 film in tamil.

The late Kannada Super Star Rajkumar has acted in many of Siddalingiah`s films and his demise is a great loss to the Kannada industry. We express our deepest condolences to actor Atharvaa and his family and pray that the veteran filmmakers' soul rests in peace.
