Saloni is still keen

It is always good to have failures at the start of your career. It gives you an early chance to correct yourself.
In that sense, Saloni, the heroine of Dhana 51 that has opened to lukewarm response, is happy.
Now she can undo some of her own mistakes. Saloni in fact has got a bad press for her 'wooden histrionics'.
'She has to improve on all counts' was the general verdict. And that is what she is precisely doing in Chanti Addala's film Oka Voorilo.
Saloni who is an import from Hindi (she did a role Sawan Kumar's Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa and had learnt the rudiments of acting at the Ashok Kumar Training Institute) has had difficulty in adjusting to the local idioms and flavors.
But one film is good enough to learn the ropes of the trade, she says. Saloni is also learning Telugu so that she can be at ease with the film and its story.
Saloni doesn't mind showing off as long as it is part of the overall story.
She doesn't regret Dhana 51. "It was a big banner and I wanted a break in Telugu. It provided me that."
Now she is looking ahead. Competition had better watch out, Saloni looks very keen.
