A statement from Studio 9 Suresh had claimed that his stalled project with Vijay Sethupathi titled Vasantha Kumaran` would be taking off soon with some changes made to the script. However, almost immediately, the micro-blogging sites that are linked to Vijay Sethupathi have requested the fans not to believe in such rumors on 'Vasantha Kumaran'.

His next release would be 'Idam Porul Yaeval' followed by 'Purampokku'' and 'Orange Mittai'.
