Partings are not unusual in film circles.

But the news about Mahesh Babu and Namratha Shirodkar's split has lot of unusual things about it.

For one, the North Indian is full of it while the Telugu press is quiet about it.

Secondly, both the parties in question are keeping a low-profile about it.

Before getting into other details, let us have some flashback on the whole affair: Well, Mahesh Babu and Namratha, ever since they acted together in a Telugu film, had a thing going on between them.

Though both never confirmed the relationship openly, the two were even said to have had a live-in relationship. The duo in fact planned to marry in December. Then it got postponed to this year.

And now the trip to splitsville.

So what could have been the reason for the parting.

Namaratha's camp feels that Mahesh Babu became pusillanimous after the poor show of his recent films. He seemed more bothered about his image. Hence, the break.

But Mahesh Babu's corner does not want to speak at all.

Any parting is sad. This one, between two beautiful youngsters, is doubly so.
