Guess what`s common between Kapil Dev, Wasim Akram, Mutthiah Muralidharan, Brett Lee, Graham Gooch, Herschelle Gibbs? Well, one would say they are all world renowned cricketers. Think again? Besides being famous cricketers, all these cricketers have acted in Bollywood!
After these legendary cricketers, yet another cricket legend is ready to join Bollywood. He is none other but former Australian ace spinner Shane Warne. Confirming the news Shane Warne told media that something is in store but he is yet to give his nod for the movie. He told media, "I`ve been getting offers. This time a filmmaker has something interesting, let`s see."
It may be remembered in 2011 when Shane Warne was in India for the IPL matches he had been offered Bollywood offers but he declined.
Reports have it that Shane Warne, this time has been intoxicated by the glamour of Bollywood ever since he fell in love with Pallavi Sharda, the heroine of Bollywood flick HAWAIZAADA.
Readers may be aware that recently Lord Mayor, Robert Doyle, kicked off Moomba Festival, Australia's largest free community festival by crowning Bollywood star Pallavi Sharda as Queen of Moomba` and cricket legend Shane Warne as King of Moomba`. As a result the two came closer and according to Pallavi, Shane Warne has learned even Panjabi folk dance Bhangra` steps.
It may be noted that Pallavi Sharda started her Bollywood career by playing a cameo in Karan Johar's MY NAME IS KHAN (2010). In March 2010 Sharda was crowned Miss India Australia` in Sydney.
As for Shane Warne he loves India. He said, "I love India`s culture, the craziness of everyday life and the passion of its people."
One wonder will Shane Warne and Pallavi Sharda chemistry blaze screen? Will Shane Warne bowl-over his Bollywood fans with his acting skills rather than bowling skills?
