NTR Jr stands accused of being one-dimensional in his films. He didn't have a great 2004. His two releases didn't have any good run at the box office.

His Naa Alludu is already in some controversy as it is said to contain some double meaning dialogues.

So NTR Jr is in the midst of a horrendous run? Hardly, if anything, he is conquering new frontiers.

He is winning admirers from far and wide. And in the present case, he is winning laurels in the xenophobic Karnataka. That's high achievement indeed. At a recent meeting of Telugu Mahasabha in Bangalore, NTR Jr got sumptuous praise from all and sundry.

The burly actor returned the compliments by saying that Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar was like his grandfather.

The Kannadigas were suitably impressed.
