It`s no news anymore that Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be a pair in Vikas Bahl`s next Shaandar`. Now latest buzz is that they will be working together for second time for Abhishek Chaubey. If sources are to be believed, Alia has been chose by the Dedh Ishqiya` famed director for his next film, Udta Punjab`.

Only few days ago, it was alleged that the film will bring together ex-lovers Shahid and Kareena Kapoor-Khan. Prior to this, name of Chopra sisters - Priyanka and Parineeti were also considered.

However, some sources claim that the Student of the Year` actress was Chaubey`s first choice. On the other hand, Alia was very keen to do Udta Punjab` and in fact, had no qualms to have a repeat of her co-star, Shahid.

Meanwhile team 'Shaandar' finished the shooting and Alia had posted a sad selfie on Instagram on the last day of the shoot. "And one more journey comes to an end.. Last night of shoot for #shaandaar ... Will be hoping this night never ends.. too much pain :(," wrote Alia.
