Truth is not what you believe it to be. It is what it is. If you can understand this, then you can make head or tail about the matter involving Ankitha and Navdeep.
One group believes that Ankitha was teased and taunted by the hero Navdeep and hence she attempted suicide during the shoot of Manasu Maa Vinadu in Mauritius. "It was the worst situation I have ever faced in my career. Thankfully everything was controlled within no time and we started shooting as Navdeep apologised for whatever happened. I am happy that the director-producer V N Aditya did not have to face any loss due to this incident," says she.
He was making indecent comments despite my making it clear that I did not like his behavior. But he went on repeating the same things time and again. That's what pushed me to the wall and I had no choice, but to slap him to stop him. I wasn't able to concentrate on my work because of his behavior and it was affecting my performance on the sets. After all nobody can tolerate beyond a certain limit," says Ankita.
There is another group which says that the entire thing is an orchestrated drama that Ankitha is coming up with. They say she has trown enough tantrums during the shoot that none in the unit will be ready to back her (a few of them have signed a statement against her). They also see that Ankitha was miffed at having been rebuffed by Navdeep.
It is a question of one group's words against another. You will end up believing what and whom you want to.
But the truth as usual would be somewhere in between.
Sources in the know say that Ankitha is capable of theatrics. And Navdeep is not a babe in the woods. So the entire episode may be just a charade in which Ankitha and Navdeep may be just bit players.
The common fan is hardly interested in such unholy shenanigans.
So the question is whom are Navdeep and Ankitha trying to convince.
