Benaras Mediaworks' Zid produced by Anubhav Sinha and Mushtaq Shiekh and directed by Vivek Agnihotri will hit theatres this 28th November and the trailer of the film is amongst the most popular on video-streaming portal Youtube!

While the uncut trailer of the musical psychological thriller was recently launched online,it received an overwhelming response with over 503,775 views in a mere 2 days ,post which it trended as the most popular video on Youtube India on the number 1 spot.

A week later, the trailer still continues to remain amongst the most viewed having crossed the 3 million mark (3,042,235 in a week )* . Ironically, many are drawing comparisons between the trend of Zid trailer and the PK teaser which currently stands at 6,123,703 in 2 weeks. Says a trade source, "The uncut trailer of Zid is showing similar popularity trends as the PK teaser - In fact going merely by the numbers, the Zid trailer views have surpassed those of the PK teaser solely considering week- 1 figures. While PK views currently stand at 6,123,703 in 2 weeks, what`s left to see is if the trailer starring Mannara elbows it out in its second week thanks to its controversial content".
