It is a real tribute to children day November 14 this year from a well driven thought of Karnataka government. A joint effort of Karnataka International Children Film Festival organized by Karnataka chalanachitra Academy on behalf of the government of Karnataka with information and public relations, public instructions, department of women and child development in the first edition of KINCHIEF is offering good quality of 15 children films picked from the sub continent and other parts of the world.
The Karnataka government has made it free of films in all the 30 districts and it is a nonprofit motto of the creative team sure to get good applaud. It is for children of government schools. The audience will also include teachers, educators, and delegates involved in film production.
In 15 films selected two are from Kannada language – Gubbachchigalu and Alegalu. Films for seven days will be screened via UFO technology. The Karnataka information minister Roshan Baig addressing the media on Monday informed that the films are carefully picked for government school children.
Information director Vishukumar, Principal Secretary of information and public relations department Smt Shalini Rajanish and Creative director Vasanth Mokashi Punekar were present at the media briefing.
Take a look at the 15 films ready to enthrall the children - Taina, The Origin (Brazil), Yellow Colt (Mongolia), Pani Kluci, Blue Tiger, Journey of the Beginning Time (Czech), Gubbachchigalu, Alegalu, Goopi Gawwayya Bagha Bajjayya, Kaphal, Khobh (India), Cinderella Moon (China), Children of Heaven (Iran), In the name of Sherlock Holmes (Hungary), Clara and the secret of bears (Switzerland) and Inuk (France).
