The title and promo that was unveiled of Kichcha Sudeep film Ranna` a remake of Attarintike Daaredi` was surrounded by controversy as the hero stands above the title.

Ranna` is a famous poet of ancient times and the hero standing on the title Ranna` is a disgrace was the comment raised by a section of people. The issue was before the apex Body Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

In Kannada Ranna` is also said for doing good work. The similar intention is the maker of Ranna` Kannada film as the hero in the film rejoins the estranged families. Chinna, Ranna….are also used for children in the social life.

Sensing further danger the team of Ranna` headed by Nandakishore as director (Victory and Adyaksha director) decided to shift the title in the coming advertisements and promos.
