'Oka Laila Kosam' is all set for a release on Oct 17th and Naga Chaitanya, the lead actor in the film, is sure that the film will be a big hit. In an interview with us, Chaitanya talks about the film, his working experiences with the director, heroine, his future projects etc.

Feel good love story

Oka Laila Kosam` is a feel good romantic entertainer with a very good entertainment quotient.I've acted in some love entertainers previously, but this is a mature love story.This is a love story between a young pair, who completed their graduation and are about to be married.

Very apt for our film

While working for the film, we thought of remixing our grandfather's super hit song, 'Oka Laila Kosam'. Anoop Rubens generally doesn't like to remix songs, as there would be lot of expectations and comparisons.But he agreed to do it for our film. Then we decided to title the film as'Oka Laila Kosam' as it is very apt for our film. The film is about a young man who goes to extremes to make the girl he loves

That's how it started

Audiences are accepting me well in romantic entertainers and I've done some action films recently. So when I was looking for a good love story, I watched 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde' and thought the director Vijay Kumar Konda's style of direction would suit my body language well. That's how this film has happened.

Hardworking actress

Pooja Hegde is not only a good actress but also very hardworking. She has acted very well in this film.

Re-shot some scenes

It is true that we've reshot some scenes. After watching the film, my father has suggested some improvements and we had reshot them.

No sentiments

It is a just a coincidence that my name is Karthik in both 'Ye Maya Chesave' and this film. I've no such sentiments to repeat names from successful films.

Love fresh ideas

I love fresh ideas and want to do films which offer something new. Even the audiences get bored if we repeat the same formula films everytime. I don't want to add some particular elements just because they have worked in some other film.

They don't decide the fate of a film

I believe in only content and I don't think budget or commercial elements in the film decide the fate of the film at the box-office.

Will do action films

I will also act in action enteratainers. Right now, I am acting in Sudheer Varma's film, which is a thriller with good action elements. I want to improve as an actor with every film.

He doesn't like it

My father doesn't like to promote me every time and he wants me to build my own image. He hears the story of a film, only after I hear it. Even if he doesn't like a story, he asks me to proceed if I like it because if it fails, it will be a learning experience. We shouldn't be afraid of failures and we should keep doing our work staying true to roots.

Eternal feeling

Love is an eternal feeling and it is nothing wrong if you are in love with someone.I'm always in love, whether it is with my parents, with my friends or with myself.

Right now, I am only promoting my films in social networking sites. But I will interact with my fans actively soon.
