Mary Kom has punched its way into the 100-crore club making this Bhansali Production`s third consecutive 100-crore grosser after Rowdy Rathore and Ram Leela.

Creative maverick Sanjay Leela Bhansali flagged off his home production under the banner Bhansali Productions with the commercially successful and critically acclaimed Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 and has ever since never failed to deliver films that have made celluloid history.

The biopic of the five time world champion , Olympic and Asian Games Gold medalist starred Priyanka Chopra.

Says Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Mary Kom`s story was an inspiring one and our aim was to tell this beautiful story to as many people as possible. The fact that it has reached so many people is something we are extremely proud of and I'm thankful to the audience for vouching for the film".

With the exceptional success of Rowdy Rathore , RamLeela and now Mary Kom , the director-producer scores a hat trick at the box office , with an exciting slate ahead starting off with the remake of south-blockbuster Ramana which is slated to release 3rd April 2015, Good Friday, a worldwide holiday.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali then dons the director`s hat for his most ambitious yet, Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh , Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra which recently went on floors and is slated to release next year.
