The sit com 'Akkarakazhchakal' which was a big hit with the online viewers has already supplied a group of artists to Mollywood. Jacob Gregory, who became a popular face in Mollywood through films like 'ABCD, 1983', Bhaiya Bhaiya' and Salala Mobiles debuted through Akkarakazchakal' while Josekutty Valiyakallumkal, who played roles in Koothara, English and Buddy was the lead actor in the sit-com. Sajini Zachariah, who played Dulquer's mother in ABCD, was also the female lead of the show which ran to many episodes with its quality humour.

Anyhow, the director of the show Aby Varghese will now enter Mollywood directing Fahad Fazil for his new film. As usual from the director, this new film project will also be a comedy drama and Fahadh will be playing an NRI in it. The shooting for the movie will be held at U S. Aby is planning to include a few of his camp artists and will also bring in a Bollywood face to play the heroine in the movie.
