Speculations about Kamal film's new heroine never seem to stop.

First it was said that Tabu would play the lead opposite him in his next venture.

But with Tabu rejecting the offer to act in his Mumbai Express, the baton seems to have passed on to Kajol.

Kamal Haasan had reportedly narrated the story to Kajol and the latter has accepted to be part of the project.

The bilingual film (to be made in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously) will be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.

Though rumors were agog that Bipasha Bau was approached for the role by Kamal Haasan initially, she has reportedly accepted to act with Vijay in a movie to be produced by Kalaipuli Thanu.

Kajol is a familiar face in Kollywood, for she acted the heroine in Minsara Kanavu, produced by AVM and directed by Rajeev Menon.
