2. Mr. & Mrs. Shailaja Krishnamurthy

A young and almost feel-good film. Spunky acting, sweet music have all ensured that this small budget film is one of the surprise winners. It still has managed to hold itself.

3. Swaraabhishekam

Vishwanath's film all the way. The music, the sensitivity and the old-fashioned sentiments, all make it a cute film.

4. Anand

It is a reassuring season for small budget but neatly made films. Anand's music is also a winner all the way.

5. Appa Rao Driving School

A typical film and straight out of Rajendra Prasad's assembly line. Funny at times, but doesn't work for most periods.
