'Munnariyippu Movie' Gallery

As his new film 'Munnariyippu' is all set to be on theatres from tomorrow, cinematographer turned director Venu is confident that his movie will be appreciated largely.

Presenting Mammootty in a different mould as Raghavan who has been kept in jail for no convincing crimes, the role will offer plenty for Mammootty to emote. Venu adds that the movie based on his own story will have few dialogues for Mammootty, but plenty of stuff to perform. He also expects its lead lady Aparna Gopinatha to fetch another award for her poignant performance as a journalist who tracks the life story of the lead protogonist .

The movie produced by Renjith will tell a different story, which Venu was planning early to make in Hindi. But later he thought to plan it in Kerala. Venu believes that this is a story that can be understood and related to across countries and cultures.
