It looks like it has been years since Gharshana was released. And Venkatesh also looks a distant memory. But that is what usually happens in the flux-filled world of filmdom. An actor stays in memory only if his last release is a hit.

In the case of Venkatesh, Gharshana was not.

The thing is Venky, however, understands this strange predicament. That is the reason he is working overtime for his next releases Subhash Chandra Bose and Sankranthi.

Subhash Chandra Bose is a period film with a large-than-life theme. Directed by Raghavendra Rao and produced by Aswini Dutt, the film is more than a challenge for Venky.

Sankranthi, on the other hand, is a typical sentiment-suffused family drama. A remake of the Tamil hit Anandam, it also has Srikanth, Arti Agarwal and Sneha in the leads.

Now, Venky's dilemma is to release which film first. Sankaranthi is scheduled for January release while no date has yet been finalized for Subhash C Bose.

That is a difficult decision to make.
