Actor Dhanush, who has achieved so much when compared to his age, celebrates his 31^st birthday today. The actor who debuted as an adolescent in Thulluvadho Ilamai` went on to stamp success as an actor, dancer, singer, lyric writer and Producer.

Dhanush compensated his lean physique with his tremendous acting skills during his early days in film industry, which would have become a weakness if not for his performance abilities. After delivering a mixture of hits and flops, Dhanush won the National award for The Best Actor for his performance in the 2011 Vetrimaran directed film Aadukalam`. In 2012, he proved his mettle as a lyric writer and singer with the Kolaveri` song for his wife AIshwarya`s directorial debut 3` and the song become famous across the globe.
