Jai clarifies about his religious belief

Several weeks back actor Jai was noticed doing Namaaz in a mosque in T.Nagar along with Yuvan Shankar Raja who had convereted to Islam religion. This lead to news reports suggesting that Jai has also converted to Islam.

The Vadacurry` actor has revealed in a recent interview that he has actually not converted to Islam but has been just following the religion. The actor further said “I was not praying any god before. Now I am praying one god (Allah). This should be seen as a good sign”.

On the professional front Jai`s recent film Vadacurry` is successfully holding onto screens on its third week. His next film Thirumanam Ennum Nikka` will be hitting the screens for Ramzan or a few days after the festival.
