'Indian State Governments have not supported Cinema'- Kamal Haasan

The audio launch of Valiba Raja` the film that marks the reunion of Sethu, Santhanam and Vishaka Singh, the lead cast of 2013 super hit film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya` happened in Devi Theatre in Chennai on June 24. The film has been directed by Sai Gokul Ramnath and music has been scored by Rathan.
Padma Bhushan actor Kamal Haasan released the music album. The veteran actor while speaking at the audio launch said that the film`s producer H.Murali`s father is the producer of one of his earliest super hits Sattam En Kayyil`.
Kamal further noted that he is happy to see the union of such young talents and said that only those who appreciate young talents and keep themselves open to learn from any one without age barriers have only achieved in the industry.
The multi talented actor also said that unlike other industries like IT, the film industry is being nurtured by its members without any big support from the governments. He said he is not only telling about Tamilnadu government but the governments of all the 15 states in India have not extended big support to their respective film industries.
However the Uttama Villain` star was bold enough to state that when the TN government which is being ruled for the past 50 years by those who were related to film industry has not supported the film industry we need not mention about the other state governments.
