The news is that the tall and talented actress is pencilled to play the lead opposite Chiranjeevi in his forthcoming movie under the direction of Seenu Vaitla.
Though the official word is still awaited, sources say Tabu is certain to play the role as it is strong one and has lot of scope for histrionics.
Tabu, who gave a mega hit with Nagarjuna some years back, is raring to go in Tollywood.
She says she is always enamored with films from South. They are much more professional, she had said not long ago.
Tabu, according to reports, is also said to be doing a bilingual with Kamal Haasan.
