Debutante director N.RaghavanÂs ÂManjapai opened to mixed reviews last week. The film produced by director N.LingusamyÂs Thirupathi Brothers and SarkunamÂs A Sarkunam Cinemaz is doing brisk business in its second week despite getting mixed reviews from critics.
'Manjapai' is retained in many screens across the state despite this week the release of two new Tamil films this week. 'Manjapai' had collected eight crores in the first four days of release and the first day collection was 70% of what ÂKochadiiyaan collected on its first day in Tamilnadu.
RaghavanÂs relatable script with equal dosage of humour and sentiment sans vulgarity , veteran actor RajkiranÂs perfect portrayal of an innocent and kind old man from a rural background and the effective marketing of ÂThiruppathi Brothers have ensure the filmÂs box office success.
ÂManjapai starring Vemal, Lakshmi Menon and Rajkiran in the lead roles has become yet another hit film for Thiruppathi Brothers banner.
