Sonakshi Sinha is currently working for the film,'Lingaa', co-starring Super Star Rajinikanth and Anushka Shetty in the leads and her film, 'Holiday : A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', co-starring Akshay Kumar and directed by A.R.Murugadoss is set for a release on June 6th.

This bubbly actress seems to have been in love with the South Indian film industry and said that she likes to act in more films here. It is well-known that Sonakshi Sinha in a recent interview said that in South she loves to work with Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and Suriya and they are her favourites here.

Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to act with Mahesh Babu in the direction of Krish. This film, which has been titled as 'Shivam', has been delayed as Krish is busy with the work of 'Gabbar' in Bollywood. There is a buzz that Shivam will hit the floors after the completion of 'Gabbar'. There are also rumours that the movie has been shelved and will never start.

It is to be seen if this period drama will happen or Sonakshi Sinha will have to wait for some more time to act with Mahesh Babu in another film.
