Anjali is acting in a heroine oriented movie for the first time in her career. The film which is titled 'Geethanjali' and it is going to be a horror thriller.

Writer Kona Venkat is providing the screenplay, dialogues and is also presenting the movie. Raj Kiran is being introduced as the director. M.V.V.Satyanarayana is producing 'Geethanjali' on M.V.V.Cinema banner.

Kona Venkat said " 'Geethanjali' will remain as a milestone in the career of Anjali as 'Arundathi' for Anushka and 'Chandramukhi' for Jyothika. The film will have unexpected twists and turns. It is a very different film from all the horror thrillers which have come till now. Brahmanandam has played a very special character".

Srinivasa Reddy is playing the pivotal role in the movie and Harsha Vardhan Rane will be seen in a guest role.

Anjali, Srinivasa Reddy, Rao Ramesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Madhunandhan, Satyam Rajesh etc are included in the principal cast of 'Geethanjali'. Praveen Lakkaraju is the music director.
